Be Inspired by Plant Food and Homeopathy
II. Cereals and Pseudocereals.
by Marta Wellner
Amazon, Kindle Edition

The second part of the Be Inspired by Plant Food and Homeopathy is called Cereals and Pseudocereals. If you are interested in cereals, pseudo-cereals, and information transfer in homeopathy, it is now published as e-book on the Amazon. See below: Content and Excerpt
It usually takes one generation and for sure about 17 years till the current scientific achievements reach the wider communities. One of the ways is to spread the word are the Science-caffees, I have chosen writing on my own way for people who think similarly.

Cereal foods represent a major part of the diet worldwide. Numerous food allergies and sensitivities are also linked to this plant family. However gluten is not responsible for everything. Read about the cereals, their constituent sugars and polysaccharides, about FODMAP and those pseudocereals which we replace them with in our modern everyday food.
It is useful to know what we eat instead of following various dietary advice. Tradition and science interact here to give you two pictures of plant food families: the grasses, as well as the pseudocereals.

Why homeopathy?
Information

The trituration of the substance is done in lactose. …
The process involves stirring and scraping, giving the whole action a rhythmic character. The final triturate is dynamised in water according to precise protocol in order to obtain a dilution of the homeopathic medicine. The final dilution is stored in ethanol/water solution in order to keep the product safe and the dilution is transferred on a sugar substrate in order to be dispensed further. To sum it up, during the homeopathic medicine preparation, storage and dispensation – sugar, water and ethyl alcohol are used.
What is common for sugar, water and ethanol?

Well, there is something in common, but it takes a minute to explain. All molecules in the process experience very week attractions. Although they are very weak, there are numerous and somehow they make us stronger…

Yours, Marta

Be Inspired by Plant Food and Homeopathy: Nightshades and Onions

E-book
Be Inspired by Plant Food and Homeopathy
I. Nightshades and Onions
by Marta Wellner
Amazon, Kindle Edition

Potatoes, cayenne pepper and belladonna are all members of the same botanical family called nightshades. I am a practicing homeopath and at one point of my experience with remedies I was wondering how many remedies are made of foods that we are eating. My curiosity met my own experience with food and food components as a scientist. The outcome is a review, published as an e-book on Amazon. I started with the nightshades and the onions by intuition and as I was researching the topic starting with potatoes, it was shown to me that each plant food family likely contains a food which we eat a lot, some which we do not eat a lot, end eventually there are plants of which less is more. Plants and their fruit like cayenne pepper, are at the border between food, spices and herbs. And certainly, you cannot consume belladonna at all, because it is so poisonous. However, belladonna in minute amount has medicinal use and as homeopathic preparation it is very useful.
So, I wrote up what I learned, and I am offering a summary of the first two plant food families with the hope that I will inspire some readers to be more interested in the minute amounts of plants which serve humankind with healing properties. Be Inspired by Plant Foods is a journey from the lot to nearly nothing, showing that both ends have their own power.

Homeopathy for the now: SLUGS

Pest control for your GARDEN with homeopathy? Try the Helix tosta 12X, a homeopathic remedy to deter snails

SLUGS: Pest Damage
Annoying after wet weather, they finish a whole bed of lettuce overnight, leaving shiny trails
Edges or leaves are eaten away, holes in leaves are in abundance
Problem: beer traps, copper vires, potato and apple peelings do not work… but you do not want to use chemicals or ill the pests
Solution: if your garden if infested with slugs, you can use the homeopathic remedy Helix tosta 12X

DETER the slugs: Method
Helix tosta 6X: globules (pills) cca 20, 10L of water, water the soil
In old times people dried some slugs, burned them, and used the ash to mark a territory and deter them, the homeopathic way is more gentle and careful way of doing so
Advise: Use plastic, porcelain, or wood tools as metal may disturb the action of remedies, keep the tools clean
Watering or spraying is fine
Apply in the morning and evening, during sunny hot days only apply to the roots, and do not over-water on a rainy day just use less water for the remedy

About the Norfolk Homeopaths

The Norfolk Homeopaths

I am one of the four founding members of the group Norfolk Homeopaths, HN.
The NH are an independent group organising CPD events.
Most of the seminars are by homeopaths for the homeopathic community of East Anglia.
Some of them are topics of particular interest not only for homeopaths but generally for therapists like nutritionists, counsellors, midwives, herbalists, and anyone interested in health!
I left the group after five inspirational years of working together in 2016.
